Default Those 4 plastic plugs in glovebox???

got my silver TCH yesterday. very happy.

i saw this explained somewhere in this most excellent forum, but can't find today:

what are those 4 plugs in the glovebox for?

Your dealer was supposed to have installed them during their prep of the car...Contact the dealer. They go somewhere on the frame, under the car, I believe.

jbolt is right, those plugs go under the car in the frame. Make sure they get installed, they will cut down on the road noise you otherwise might experience.

Oh, those things my service dept told me were meant for cold weather cars and I didn't need them and to throw them away because that is what they would do with them..

Sounds like your dealer will be picking up some new plugs for ya when you show them that handy printout posted by schmidtj. I was thinking of trying to find them under my car to see if they were installed.

I wonder why those wouldn't be installed at the factory.

Yes, the SM said again they put them on Cold Weather cars and that's when I showed him that they keep the noise down according to the paper. He will install them Thursday for me.
