Interesting choice. I went with LED bulbs that fit right in the socket.

Every light I replaced, with the exception of the trunk was a direct replacement. i.e. they fit in the sockets.

Huh, the image must just be at odd angles. Well very nice. If you get a photos of them in use, put them up.

any trick to getting the interior light covers off? I want to order the LEDs but wanted to see how hard it is to remove the covers.

The 3 in the center are simple. Just a small flat-head screw driver to pop them open.
Visors are also easy - flat head screw drivers... Insert at the LEFT side of the light, pop it out of the head liner.

The back (assuming you have a sunroof) is hard. You need to get it out of the head liner, then disassemble it. It not hard, but pretty time consuming.

License plate is pretty easy. Pop out the plastic rivets on the trunk-lid liner, then twist the light sockets to pop them out.

Doors are just like the 3 center lights, screw drive to pop them out.

Trunk Cold Cathode... that's for another thread... if anyone wants to know I'll do a full write up.

Yeah, I agree. The back reading lights were a pain. You have to pry at the right point or you could break it. It also took quite a bit of force and I am usually afraid of breaking things because I don't have the money to get it fixed!

This PDF might be of help (page IR-19): http://www.within-reason.com/tch/pdf...ining_2007.pdf

Dave:

Did you use a wedge base (festoon) lamp for the domelight?
