TCH 2008 Camry Hybrid Leak in AC Freon
Hi!!
So I filled the AC upto around 38PSi and 3-4 days later it was down to 10psi.
This was a used car I bought and did not know about this while buying..
It's a 2008 TCH and not sure what is the best way to detect the leak.
Please suggest. It get's hot here in California sometimes..
Thanks!

You still should have it checked by a professional, but more than likely it's the evaporator. It is a common problem on all Camry's 2007 to 2011. They get a small leak and require replacement. When I had mine at the dealer getting it done a couple years ago, there were 3 other ones in there having the same thing done.
The bad news is that it costs about $1300 if you have the dealer do it for you like I did. But, if you are part of the dash replacement recall, you can have it done at the same time.
Edit: I did nurse mine along for about 1.5 years before it would not hold a charge for more than a couple days. I also had one of the cooling fans go bad and did not know it until this work was done. I replaced the cooling fan assembly on my own. And yes, it was a PITA.
