TCH 07 key battery out?

First FOB battery went @ 35 months, got warning, I do not use the second, wife went to use the second @ 40 months, dead as can be no warning because not in use, for the fun of it I tried to start car as instructed in manual it would not start, not very reassuring, if I was really in trouble. Ordered off Amazon strip of 5 for 6.99 shipping included great expiration date, less them price of two at Radio Shack, I will give the others away to a friend.
