I get a stutter, also, when starting up. I just figure that's how it is; no biggie.

 

The "lag stutter" almost stopped me from ordering a TCH. I test drove one 3 times and relaized that until the ICE coems online the launch from the line is a tad slow, this is compounded by the vibration of the ICE coming online and tricking your brains into thinking it is some sort of stall or hesitation. I also think some of it is the lack of good feedback form the gas pedal. I have driven other fly by wire cars, but the TCH pedal is like pushing air. If they had more resistance and feedback that might overcome the other sensations.
