Default Steering Pulls to left on braking

I just bought a new 09 Camry Hybrid and have driven around 700 miles on it. From day 1, on braking the steering would pull slightly to the left.
On straights, the steering, sometimes, seems to be a little left aligned. Has anybody else experienced this? Any pointers before i take it in to the dealer. Its a brand new car.
It happens mostly when the car has warmed up, and, the car is not using regenerative braking.

nope, and haven't seen this issue in the forum, so I'd say yours is the exception

Take it to the dealer, alignment could be off or as simple as not enough air in the tire causing it to pull

That was the situation in my old 2008 TCH.

I dont think the dealer can fix it..

Check the air pressure on all four tires - if that's ok, tell the dealer it is pulling to the left and you want the alignment checked, and they should align it for free since the car is less than a year old.

One other cause I've encountered in the past is "radial pull". Some tires just pull to one side. If rotating the tires front to back eliminates the pull, it is a tire. I just lived with it the one time I encountered it.

Could also be that the friction brakes on the car are 'contaminated' or have other issues, like pads that didn't bed correctly. Could also be that one of the rotors on the left is dragging a mite, causing problems. This would show up as higher rotor temp from side-to-side; easy to check with a IR thermometer. How long did the car sit on the dealer lot before you purchased it? Take a look at the manufacture date - and compare with the sale date.

IAC, it's not normal. Get the car looked at and properly diagnosed.

Tire pressure is correct on all tires. Does not seem to be alignment issue since it is highly noticeable on braking and marginally during normal driving. The car sat a couple of months at the lot.
Will take it in to the dealer this week.

My old Camry pulled to the left strongly when driving. I had the alignment checked many times. It improved a lot when one of the tires flatted and was replaced.
