I am posting pictures of what these things look like. Not much to them, I was told you need 2 for each job/car. He told me others have had issues with Sirius like mine but the customer thought it was the Sirius Sat or whatever. Some stations do it well others do not. I will post tomorrow if this fixed my Sirius/Toyota radio problem as well.
Photobucket is down, when it comes back up I'll post the pictures.

I was told when I purchased my TCH that the Sirius was not available. I wanted Sirius, but since I bargined to get it thrown in for free, I took them up on putting in XM since they had that in stock. I have a Sirius reciever mounted in the hidden compartment with the AUX jack and ran the antenna to the back deck. Now I have both and I am rather happy!

Is there a difference in quality like Digital? From what Sirius told me it sounds like the receiver that was made for the Toyota with the black box on the front windshield next to the mirror connectes straight to the Sirius Satellite.
I heard the others, maybe like yours passes through an FM antenna. Is there a difference in sound quality or anything?

I mounted it in the compartment under the AC. In that compartment there is a power outlet and an AUX jack. I simply ran the supplied antenna to the back deck and went to radio shack and bought a mini stereo plug http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...entPage=search
I was able to find one that was only 1-ft long. I pluged this into the audio out on the Sirius ONE and into the AUX jack in the compartment. Once the Sirius is on If you select AUX on the JBL radio you can hear the Sirius. This is Digital and while the Sirus one can go though FM it is not as good.
I will also note that my built in XM does sound better than the Sirius. I don't know if this is because of the Sirius ONE unit itself or the AUX input. My guess is the ONE.
The black thing you are talking about above your mirror should be your antenna for your Sirius. That is where Sirius likes to put their's for factory radios. XM puts their's on the back deck and I put my Sirius one right beside it.
** If you have factory built in Sirius you can by an aftermarket XM reciever and do the same thing that i did with my Sirius.
I hope this helps.

Hey Kluken
I'm guessing you have the electro magnetic tape covering your antenna on the windshield. I took mine off and attached 3M 2 sided tape (Pep Boys) (less tape interfering) only to the 3 padded areas of the antenna. I noticed less drops, not saying I never got a drop in signal but I did sit under an overpass today with no drop. On the other hand I went under some trees and it did break up. It's not perfect but IMO I did have less drops.
EDIT: I also get a better signal in my garage when I start it up, it does drop but before I couldn't get a thing
