Sirius noise filter on e-bay

Sirius noise filter on e-bay
On Ebay - I ordered the SNI-1/3.5 noise filter
item 170076259286 from specialty-electronics - only takes paypal.
Looks like he has only two left - get 'em while they're hot. Same price as Crutchfield, but after I read Crutchfield's privacy (ahem, try NON-privacy) statement I got cold feet.
I ordered two, and the shipping on the second one was reduced, and the items came in 2 days.
Actually, I realize that this filter could be helpful for any music gadget that you plug into the AUX input. Ipods, MP3 players - if the DC current is making noise on the line, this should fix it. That's why I ordered two. My husband needs one for his NAV that plays MP3s.

Re: Sirius noise filter on e-bay
Just a word of warning to those of you who may be thinking of using this filter with the Harman Kardon drive+play iPod interface.
It indeed does remove the whine sound from the audio system, but it also removes all lower frequency bass sounds. I had to remove it because I felt that I would rather keep the noise and still maintain the bass.
It worked just fine with my XM satellite receiver, though.
If anyone has a suggestion for a different filter that might work with the HK drive+play, please let me know!
