Default replacement tires for 07 camry

I have an 07 Camry Hybrid with 32,000 miles on it and was told I need 4 new tires. I read an article that you need to put the same kind of tires or your milage will drop. Has anyone had the same experience?

Default Re: replacement tires for 07 camry

Search on Michelin Primacy; there are many threads on these tires. I replaced my Michelin Energy OEM LRR tires with the Primacy (supposedly non-LRR) and saw no decrease in milage. My current tank with over 500 miles is showing 49.0 MPG average. Highest tank with the Energy's was 47.4. Save some money and get the H rated version instead of the V rated since the TCH can't do V rated speeds anyway!
