I am from Mongolia. Have a service shop in Ulan Bator, Mongolia. Recently I have purchased the battery reconditioning system named prolong thunderbolt. Have been trying to recondition a bad battery pack mainly came to us with the error P0A80.
But having a lot of difficulties with the process. Tried many ways to recondition but it seems far from successful at the moment.

Is there anyone using this equipment or having a similar one doing reconditioning?
I need help, please.

 

I have never seen a Generation 3 Toyota hybrid that can be reconditioned. The only cases of which I am aware are in very mild climates and even then, a notable number of modules need to be replaced.

If a Gen3 Toyota battery has P0A80, it will need modules replaced. Possibly many of them.

First, some background on me. I am an electrical engineer, but I work on radar, so I am not particularly familiar with high voltage DC traction batteries. I mention this to say that the only real electrical skills I found necessary were being familiar with a voltmeter, and knowing to be scared of high voltages when appropriate.
