Question Question on collapsing back seats

Has anyone used their collapsed back seats as storage for heavy items on a regular basis? If so do you know if the seat belt buckles cause indentations or tears on the back seats from the weight pressing down on the collapsed seat?

The reason I ask is I might be putting 30-60 pounds of folding bikes on the collapsed back seats once a week or two and was wondering if I should expect some damage to the back seats.

Thanks for any info.

I've put much heavier items (several hundred pounds) on the folded down back seats for days and not caused any damage. btw I have cloth seats.

shouldn't be a problem. I've folded the seats on my Prius flat and lay down on it for an hour or two before. The indent on the seat will go away after a day. At least it did on my Prius.
