I purchased my TCH just before it arrived at Toyota of Hopkinsville (KY) with the factory-furnished fabric seats and door panel inserts. The dealer helped me make arrangements to have Cole Brothers in Nashville, TN install Toyota Camry leather a few days after I took delivery. I drove it in one morning before 9am and picked it up before 3pm the same day.
The retrofit leather cost a total of $995, including tax.
For comparison to the factory option package, please note that my TCH does NOT have a power passenger seat or seat heaters.
On the plus side,
1. paying the cost of the leather means monthly loan payments are lower
2. a wide variety of colors are available, not just "ash" or "bisque"
3. the change can be done on the buyer's schedule -- take delivery now instead of waiting for special order vehicle
Of course, I recommend getting the leather ASAP. It not only feels good--it really improves the appearance of the vehicle.

The thing is, you should be able to actually compare the swatches on your dashboard and trim before you decide.
If you still prefer ash or bisque, there's nothing wrong with going that way...
