Ontario, Canada Owners, What Did You Pay For Your Hybrid?

Re: Ontario, Canada Owners, What Did You Pay For Your Hybrid?
We almost picked up a Barcelona Red that had 39k on it, but ended up picking the Titanium Metalic with 31k.
I'm still imagining driving that car again... trying to imagine owning one...

hi
the used route might be better, i know you would loose on the fed tax savings, but you might be able to get the provincial up to $2000 pst, as it says new or used, have you checked into that?
i asume the hybrids we see used were rentals?

Excerpt from: http://www.fin.gov.on.ca/english/tax...s/rst/702.html
Eligible Vehicles
People who purchase or lease new or used vehicles licensed under the Highway Traffic Act (e.g., automobiles, trucks, and vans) may qualify for a rebate of RST if the vehicles operate on alternative fuels.
We'll have to look through all the minutae details to see if we're eligible for the provincial rebate (the dealer said they had confirmed that we would be, but I wouldn't trust a used car salesman with my last Rolo) - we went into the deal without any consideration of the rebate. It'll be a cherry on top, basically.

Thank you!
And since we don't pick it up until between 5 and 6 PM Eastern, I might just sneak the occasional peak at this forum... (read: pore obsessively over all posts from page 1 to 43...)

Sounds like the one they had at a dealership north on Don Valley...
