Noisy wiper blades

Re: Noisy wiper blades
So??? Did you get rid of the noise??? If so, what worked? We are on the edge of our seats.

Re: Noisy wiper blades
Actually, I did nothing (one of my areas of expertise).
There was a fine mist yesterday and the wipers didn't make a noise (I assumed a dryer window is more prone to creating a noise).
In any event, until we have a heavier rain, I'll assume that the noise was due to the fact that the blades were brand new (who know, maybe there was a fine coating that caused the noise and has since rubbed off? don't know)

In Toyota's instruction pamphlet on changing wiper blades it states that some glass cleaners such as Rain-X may cause the blades to 'chatter' across the windshield. I've used this brand and it seems to make no difference.
