They are charging $400 or so in Canada (highway robbery) for this DVD so I would seriously doubt they just copied old data onto a new disc.

I would expect updated maps at the very least.

But even updated maps are out of date before you even get them.

I am one of the canadians who bought the $400 8.1 disc and other then color changes I fail to see any differences. I would strongly recommend anyone keep their 7.1 disc and wait for 2010 the 2009 update was not worth $50 let alone what mine cost.
