I agree, building a replica if the great community we have here is a difficult task. After all, there is a vast wealth of knowledge on this site.

The biggest plus of the other site is the database. It would have been nice if the database here was upgraded, but, that did not happen. The plus for you might very well be the database.

I don't plan on leaving GH but will be participating in both.

Thanks for the link! I too am unhappy with the current mileage database. And my questions about it have gone unanswered. Guess it's time to move on.

Yes, I was going to mention a wiki was in the works...it looks like Jason beat me to it though!

I hate the fact that the MILEAGE database entry has vanished. I found mileage posting for my vehicle and was able to extract it all into a spreadsheet, but there were postings missing from 2/22/09 until current. I had to fat finger a adjustment to catch up on my mileage. I personally thought the mileage data base was the BEST thing about GH forum.
Sorry to see it vanish. I probably won't stay with it now.

Yeah, I to had a few entries disappear. The only thing I could do was say I had a starting mileage other than zero and gave it an average MPG.
