Nice, guys.
RSS not working is a *technical* issue. It's enabled, so it should work. Don't want to provide it? Disable it. I'd still disagree, but that's the right way to do it. That's a legitimate admin decision. Right now, it's enabled but broken (only for the Toyota threads).
Never said I wanted you to have to kill all the spam. I moderate another site and know what a pain it is.
The issue's not logging in - issue is checking the 30 or so web sites I scan each day with RSS.
In my experience of 20+ years online, when moderators start making fun of the members, it's a sign that the board/forum is in decline. Sorry to see it. GH was a good place a couple years ago.
And hey, Skywagon, don't know why you chose to go personal about all this - it's just a decision on how people want to participate in the community. I was pointing out a technical problem that did not get an answer until this thread. The 2 hybrids were a hobby when we first got them, now they are "just cars"... I continued scanning the threads here so I could occasionally contribute answers.
So the issue here guys is - rather than communicating openly and about the technical issue, it went personal with the moderator's blessing. At evois's request, I initially contacted him by PM and after he sent me an incorrect answer, he didn't reply to my follow up.
Sheesh. All I wanted to do is participate, and understand why something was broken.
