Currently the tax credit is $2600. You have to purchase it by Sept. 30 to get the full credit. For six months after that (through March 31, 2007) you get $1300 and for six months after that $650. It disappears on Oct. 1 2007. Of course that assumes that Congress doesn't make any changes to the law.
