I just checked KBB.com ...assuming their values are (somewhat) close to the market prices, my 2008 Hybrid with 70,000 miles is worth about the same as the (gas) Camry XLE.
I'm not sure what real life sales values are, but I guess some/most of us thought that the more expensive hybrid version would retain some of the extra expense (when I bought, it was ~$2300, I think??),
Not disappointed, though, since I never bought it to make money, but was a little surprised, nonetheless, seeing the relatively similar values.
