PCV Valve on 2008 TCH?
Am I missing it somewhere? I am looking for the location of the PCV valve on this engine. Or does it not have one? Some help please?
I am looking for it because my TCH seems to be using some oil all of a sudden. Any other thoughts on the oil usage? I don't notice any smoke from the exhaust pipe and I don't see any leaks.
Any help is appreciated.

Blow by burn out. You do not need to see much smokes coming out. A sip at a time times all the time spent running engine. I'd say, either valve stem seals, or plug tower seal.
You have to remove engine cover to get to PCV.

Any time. Clean it of course, but you may end up better doing engine pressure test.
As far as I know Japanese makes, they are notorious on blow by at valve stem seals and around spark plug tower seals. Pull plugs out and examine, if they are sooty then it burns through the combustion chambers.
Truly, simply switch to heavier oil weight and add qrt of Lucas oil stabilizer.

I cleaned my PCV about 15,000 miles ago. Takes about 10 minutes start to finish. Remove the plastic cover covering the valve cover and it is at the top left corner of the valve cover on the back of the engine. I pulled mine and cleaned it with Brake Cleaner.
You could replace it. It is only a couple bucks.
If it makes you feel any better mine uses just under a quart over 7500 miles. It used to be worse, but has gotten better for whatever reason. Common problem on these engines. Google it and you can read about it "until the cows come home".

It's because sludge plugged all the pinholes it was leaking through.
Cleaned PCV valve and changed oil. Will watch and see what happens before I look at pursuing anything else. Thanks for all the info and suggestions.
