An EBH would greatly shorten warm-up time and let the engine shut off.

That's an engine block heater just in case it isn't clear

Nice to know you're now doing well...
How was your previous vehicle's mileage number on the 3-mile drive?

I drove a Murano, and I was averaging at 15MPG on that sucker (quite literally). So, 25 is EXCELLENT for me. I'm actually keeping my fingers crossed that it WILL get better once it's broken in and when it gets warmer. Right now, I'll just have to enjoy what I got.

Glad to hear you see the hybrid benefit.
The EBH will help you a lot for the short drive. Japanese hypermilers use it even in summer.

24.6 was my best for the first week. HOT EFFING MESS! HAHAHA!!

But I get it now. That Reset button is my BFF right about now.

Not bad for 15 degrees, right?

So is the "BEST" mpg the best all time or what?

e.g. if you were to cruise home downhill after refuelling, then it'll show 99.9mpg and just stay there until you rest?

I guess what's the "BEST" used for and how is it used compared to the "AVERAGE" one which is one that we've all come to know.
