I"ve got a loose "heat shield" about couple of feet before the muffler.

I first thought it was part 14, but that looks like it wraps around the muffler so that's not it.

I tapped it with a stick and see and hear it's loose. Going over bumps I hear this metalic rattle. Reading this post I thought at first it was my issue but probably not. This small metal "heat shield" is now resting on part 6 in the picture. I cna't find a proper pdf to see the part or part #. I'm not even sure it it was simply 4 bolts that came loose or what. -ideas? tx

 

the kentucky-built and japan-built TCH has some slight differences in the bracket.

could be a bad bracket or heat shield not shown in the parts layout.
