EXCELLENT ARTICLE ON THE TCH- PUBLISHED BY A DETROIT NEWSPAPER!!

I thought this was a well written article describing the TCH & its place in the Hybrid World...

I thought that the writer did his homework & was fairly accurate in his asessment of ther Camry & other hybrids.....

My god, they actually made a sensible price comparison too!

The base price for the Camry hybrid is $25,900, putting it $1,200 above the top trim level for a standard four-cylinder Camry but still $1,920 below the top trim level for the V6 Camry.

First time I've seen that in print.

The 12 Oct 2006 article also notes this milestone:

" Toyota Motor Corp. today is to mark the start of production of its Camry hybrid at the company's Georgetown, Ky., plant. "

It will be interesting to compare & note differences.
