Does Bluetooth support A2DP

Does Bluetooth support A2DP
Does the 2008 Camry Bluetooth support the Bluetooth profile A2DP? Or only HFP?
I have no idea what these things are, but in another forums I asked about streaming Pandora from my iPhone to the car. Does the car support that profile?
Thanks!

not that i have answer for you, but i seriously doubt that connection is suitable for any streaming. would have been nice, but... even if it will, i even more seriously doubt you'd have had any meaningful quality.
why can't you use AUX jack to use your phone as player? or get yourself one of USB connection players and play anything that runs via USB?

Re: Does Bluetooth support A2DP
I do have the wire and another wire for my GPS. Like it a bit neater, so if I could stream sans wire, I'd prefer it. Not a biggie as the wire is convenient enough, but it's just the aesthetics. A hybrid, an iPhone and all that modern stuff...the picture gets ruined with 1950's wires dragging across the dash, etc.

have no fear, ukrkoz is here.
she has 2 factory openings for wires, going inside to AUX, on either side of that thing in the middle, gods, forgot the name for it:
and you do not need to have any wires across your car to have USB port working. Also, I think there's direct opening from glove compartment into the , yes, that thing in the middle:
that's your USB player.

Re: Does Bluetooth support A2DP
it really depends on the head unit you have. Prius and Venza has it but it's the top of the line model. My 2007 Camry doesn't have it. Probably the 2010-2011 Camry has it.
