Did you get a trunk/cargo mat/carpet with your TCH?
Did you get a trunk/cargo mat/carpet when you purchased your TCH? I'm thinking they are including it (now that it's finally available) with purchase. Take a look at the picture (from a current Ebay listing) -

Mine did not even come with carpet mats! That is actually an option. I told them that if I am paying $27000 for a car it better had mats in it. The ordered me some at their expense.

So, if the trunk mat isn't standard, what's there to cover the spare tire panel? Anything?

The car already comes with a "mat-like" cover on top of the spare tile panel which is good enough for everyday use (unless you're worried about potentially getting your trunk dirty, big boo-hoo), but Toyota forces you to purchase a "nicer/fluffier" one to put on top of it if you want any mats inside your car (which -- IMHO -- is where the potential for getting the floor dirty beyond repair does matter).
Just another way to squeeze a couple more $$$'s out of you: dealer options always get ya!

yes, i got it with the camry hybrid but there were charges for that including the sunroof.
that means they were extra charges.
i bought the all weather floor mats for about $90 and they are good as they protect the carpet mats and look cool and fits perfectly and it is important you buy this as now that the snow season is near .

Mine came with floor and trunk mats for $200. It came with two vinyl mats that go on top of the mats in the front seats. I ended up getting all-weather mats anyway so I have 6 mats I don't need now.
Yeah... Toyota is penny-pinching! Nearly every carmaker throws in at least floormats on the mid-size line! I believe all Mazda vehicles now come with standard floormats. Give me a break... who would buy a car and NOT get flootmats. Jeez... even rental cars now have floormats. I cut a vinyl, Home Depot rug-runner mat (one with many grippers on the bottom) to match the driver's OEM mat. Cost me $4 plus 10 minutes of my time. It usually lasts about 1 year. Works great!
