Check engine light
If you replace the ECU without encoding the VIN for your vehicle into it, it will throw the stated code. I do not know if the vehicle will run like that.
If you replace the ECU with a unit from a salvage yard, you will have to get the VIN programmed into it either at the dealership or at a shop capable of that operation.
