Another 30 Minutes Check Hybrid System Came On Still Wouldn’t Go To Ready Mode. Another 30 Minutes It Went To Ready Mode No Warning Lights. Jump Forward To September It Was Doing The Same Thing No Ready Mode Started The Car Up 30 Minutes Later Car Was Dead. Another 30 Minutes Check Hybrid System Came On Still Wouldn’t Go To Ready Mode. Another 30 Minutes It Went To Ready Mode No Warning Lights. Jump Forward To January No Read Mode Start The Car Up 30 Minutes Later Car Was Dead. Another 30 Minutes Check Hybrid System Came On Still Wouldn’t Go To Ready Mode. Another 30 Minutes Another 30 Minutes It Went To Ready Mode But The Check Hybrid System Check VSC Light And Maintenance Required Light Was On Washer Fluid Low Light Red Triangle Light ABS Light Tire Light Check Engine Light And A Battery Light For The Whole Last Two Weeks On Last Month. I See The Battery Going Down And Going Up To Quickly And The Engine Was Kicking In A Lot . The A/C Is Blowing Cold Air Only. So I Took Into A Toyota Dealership And They Want 115.95$ For The Oil Change 189.96$ For The Windshield Fluid Change 4,891$ For The Hybrid Battery 476.39$ For The 12V 199.97$ For The Tires 598.29$ For The A/C Repair. I Really Think The Toyota Dealership Is Rip Off Is You Ask Me.

Is your 12V battery bad? Up to 6 months ago, my ORIGINAL 12V battery was fine. Then it started having problems which caused all sorts of car issues. So I bought an Optima from that online seller in California. It comes with full instructions for those of us not sure of ourselves. All the problems disappeared.
Having a 12V battery last 12 years before needing a replacement is great news. Knowing that it resulted in not having other problems any more was even better news.

Yes, your dealer is taking you for a ride.

Absolutely no question the hybrid battery is bad. Blocks 9-11 are almost 3V below the other 14 blocks, and a low 12V can't cause this.

Extended sitting likely caused weak cells to self-discharge excessively.

$4800 for a new one isn't atypical. The lowest I've ever seen is $4300.
