Brand of wax/cleaner for your TCH

Re: Brand of wax/cleaner for your TCH
Without getting into a war on what is better or worse, i have been in the aircraft dealership business for many years and tried about every wax out there to bring back old fadedpaint and on new fresh paint. after many years of testing i find plain ordinary lemon pledge the best all around shine and keeping scratches out of plexiglass aircraft windows. An added plus is with a good coat of pledge on leading edges of wings, the bugs still stick but come rite off with another application which protects again. I have brought back faded paint to look like new. Just my $.02. SK

In Consumer Reports they recently did a report on waxes. Of the three types (liquid, paste and spray-on) spray-on wore off the fastest. However, they also said that if your finish is in good condition that the spray-ons, with their ease of application, do a good enough job. Just keep in mind you'll have to reapply more often.

Has anyone used Turtle Wax Ice? I understand it leaves no white residue around the emblems.
Have not waxed yet and only washed her once other than a touch up. Jasper Pearl just does not show the dirt.
