It will be easy for Toyota to make some existing option changes as suggested in the article. They certainly could do better. I would eliminate the non display audio base option. The display should be standard, and the overall display cleaned up to eliminate redundancy and confusion. The "leather seat" option is a joke. They need an affordable real leather that is easy to clean. It should not be bundled with technology like Entune that has problems.

But to the real meat of it, I suspect no technology changes in the near future. LiIon is great, with one big if. Life of the battery. My observation is that it is terrible. Hyundai have addressed it with a lifetime warranty. Time will tell if they can afford to do that. I suspect Toyota is watching carefully.
