In Iowa due to the large production of ethanol from multiple ethanol refineries, the gasohol (super unleaded octane 89 and 89.5, midgrade gas) is the cheapest fuel and carries state subsidies to increase use. Regular and premium gas are ethanol-free, there is no requirement in Iowa that all gas types be E10.
