When I read the Car & Driver review of the 4 cylinder SE it stated that the median age of Camry owners is 51. Toyota, with the 07 design, were looking to break into a younger demographic.

I'm 58, but I wouldn't call it an "old folks" car. The reactions of the younger people at work tend to indicate that Toyota got it right. The first day I had my car, my neighbor's granddaughter, who is in her early twenties, saw me driving up, and ran across the street to check it out. She spent fifteen minutes gushing over it, much to the annoyance of her husband.
