geez, my sister in law just told me i'm driving a "grandmas" car. can we just stop pushing up this average. I had to convince her how it is not a "grandmas car" and it looks "sporty". it doesn't hurt to lie on your age. hhmm..
27 here. I just orded a TCH silver fully loaded (really wanted black, oh well). Most my friends think that spending 30k on a camry is just plan silly. I get the grandma's car remark all the time. When I test drove it I thought the car was great, not to mention stylish. These friends of mine just dont know what they are talking about. The car itself is much more than I could ask for. I should have mine at the end of this month
and I am sure I will love it as much as everyone else has.

that's what my friends told me to about spending 30K+ on a camry, yeah, they don't know what their missing. i guess we cannot convert them all. After I told my sister in law the gas mileage i'm getting, she's like. hhmm.. maybe I should get a hybrid too. (I think she's just jealous, that's why she call it a grandmas car)
The TCH is definitely not a grandma's car. I picked mine up tonight and it is way cool. I don't think my grandma (OK.. I don't have one anymore, after all I am 49) would drive a Jasper Pearl green car...or be able to figure out all the gadgets! I'm glad my fellow baby boomers (tail end of the era, right?) are with me!
54 years old, wife is 53
Hoping to take delivery of our loaded Jasper Pearl sometime in July.
We don't really need another vehicle right now but am retiring in three years so thought it best to buy now while I still have a salary coming in. Besides, my 92 Toyota pickup with 366,000 miles won't last forever and our 2000 Super Duty V10 is a bit thirsty to be used as a daily driver.
As for grandma....hmmm the TCH has much more power then the 160,000 mile 91 Camry V6 we are selling and besides, I doubt grandma could figure out the Nav. I have the manual to study and am still trying to get a grasp on it before my car comes in.
