Age of Current TCH Owners ?
I'm 56.
I've just plunked my $500 on a magnetic gray with all but NAV. I'll have to wait as much as two months to get it, but I consider myself an owner anyway.
In the Seattle area almost every TCH is sold long before it rolls off the truck.
My TCH "test drive" consisted of a four cylinder '07 Camry and a Prius. A kinda hybridized test drive.
What really sold me on the hybrid drive was the Prius' torque on the freeway - the Prius feels like a Corolla in hp and driving characteristics, but my wife's new Corolla doesn't have that instant torque.
I think I'll like my TCH verrrrry much.

You will love it. I have a Magnetic Grey TCH with leather, NAV, sunroof et al. I love it. I have 1,770 miles on it now and averaging about 36mpg in my short haul to work (14 miles). The one long trip I took my higway avg was 41. I am really LOVING it since gas hit $3+ per gallon. I got the ASH leather with my Mag Grey. I have seen some posts where people had gotten 'bisque' with the grey and still liked it.
I have few complaints only compliments.:-)

Collectively there are 63 of us listed in the table on this thread. That means that approximately once every 6 days we're collectively getting a year older.
I'm 51. Funny, but I feel older driving my new TCH, which I love, as opposed to my 2003 Prius, which I REALLY love. Driving the Prius I felt like I was back in college again. The TCH feels like such an "adult" car, enjoyable, substantial, safe, classy... but not "fun." Maybe I'm still adjusting.
I'm surprised at the proportion of TCH posters here in their 20's!
My only complaint with my TCH: can't plug it in. The moment Toyota comes out with a plug-in Prius, I'm trading.
BTW...Fiat is coming out with a new all-electric car in Brazil, 80-mile range on lithium ion batteries. (But we can't have it here:-(
