2007 vs 2009 TCH with MPG
#22
Re: 2007 vs 2009 TCH with MPG
suggests a new twist on the old riddle:
Q. When is a red Camry not red ?
A. When it's a Hybrid; i.e. green
Thanks for the info !!!!
And I'm remembering circa. 1970 whan the industry changed from reporting "Gross" HP to "Net" and we all saw the HP rating of our favorite muscle cars drop by 100 HP or more.
Also: I notice that if I floor my 2009 TCH from slow street speeds, even on good, clean dry pavement, it "chirps" the tires (pretty new factory Michelins, properly inflated) a little before the traction control limits.
So, if the TCH has enough "guts" to chirp the tires and invoke the traction control , I'm wondering whether the additonal power of the V6 Camry is really of much practical value.
