2007 nav unit replacement

Default 2007 nav unit replacement

Hi all.

I am curious. I know, there are several direct fit nav unit lookalikes, offered as aftermarket replacement for OEM Toyota JBL one. With all kind sof blows and whistles, like USB ports, DVD playback, satellite based navigation, etc.

I know at least few folks around here swapped theirs out for those aftermarket ones.

Are those completely compatible with TCH though? As it's hybrid, has more info provided to nav display, and I'd hate to loose those features. And mine slowly starts getting on my nerve, being quieter in the morning, and normal loud in the afternoon.

ok, replacements are not fully integrated, meaning - "consumption" and "energy" displays do not function on them

Anyone has any experience with this product:
