WTB - NHW11 Prius block heater - (solved)
LESSONS LEARNED:
1) The Toyota part, C0140 00885, is not available from USA dealers.
2) The part can be ordered from a friendly Canadian source or look at non-Toyota block heaters such as the JC Whitney oil pan unit.
3) JC Whitney "tank" heater won't work due to lack of low, cold coolant port
The small, JC Whitney oil pan heater will be tested on my transaxle with a thermostat control of my design. The Toyota part may not have a thermostat control. I'll be adding one for each and will publish results later.
