Default newbie question

Are there safety risks with Hybrid cars?
Any comment will be appreciated.

Yes. They are filled with gas, and they can catch fire like any car.


Their high voltage system represents a risk to emergency response personnel should "jaws of life" be used; however, documentation and training exists, and the designs minimize those risks.
