My 2001 Honda Insight is for sale.
The battery pack has thoroughly died. So at this point it is being sold for parts or as a project for someone who knows how to install a new battery.

it has been well cared for. Silver. 140,000+ change miles. I am not really sure what it's worth.. so came here looking for advice.

 

A battery pack can be re-built and they are not that expensive to replace in labor costs. A location where the car is at would also help....

I included "Seattle" in the title to give an idea of location. Specifically, the car is in a suburb of Seattle, Redmond WA.

I don't wish to put more money into the car or re-build the battery pack. I wish I sell it to someone who wants to rehabilitate the car. I have already received quotes from both a Honda dealer and a private mechanic on what it would cost THEM to replace the battery pack.

Would love to hear from someone who is interested in buying a car of this type.
