At the start of the game, most responders picked Seattle - strange since they were decided underdogs. I think it had to do more with Pittsburgh having a huge following more than a conviction they were so much better than Seattle...

Great call, Wayne! But I would expect the call of Super Bowl XL to be a good one from Xcel.

After the Seattle team got home, there was a reception for them at Qwest Stadium. One fan held up a sign that said:
Refs: 21
'Hawks: 10

Hi DF,

There were many more fans at Ford Field rooting for the Steelers than for the 'Hawks. But then the Steelers have a direct Motown connection - Bettis is a Detroiter.
