piranhas vs skeptic
Hi,
I've been amused by the reaction to the most recent hybrid skeptic. With chip on his shoulder, our latest friend shows up proselitizing a libertarian, pro-nuclear, anti-hybrid, political agenda with the usual combination of rudeness and ignorance. Like a school of piranhas armed with the sharp teeth of facts and data our community responded and the hybrid skeptic soon resembled some unfortunate who'd fallen into a piranha infested river:

- skeptic insults - answered with empathy
- skeptic claims of expertise - answered with a math test
- skeptic claims of knowledge - answered with facts
- skeptic welcome - pointers to potentially sympathetic forums
