Noisy Vent fan (in back w/ batteries)
Had a 30k service done that was all work away from the batteries but then on commute home, I heard noise coming from the back that seems to be a noisy vent fan. Anyone else had this issue. Given that i am at 35995 miles, I am thinking the car needs to be dealer checked but any feed back from you all would be appreciated.

Re: Noisy Vent fan (in back w/ batteries)
after searching high and low for answers, a tech finally took the panel off the back and disassembled part of the fan assembly over the hybrid battery system to find a piece of wood has somehow fallen through the rear deck into the vent duct and gotten stuck in the cooling fan making a rattle sound when the fan kicked on. The Hybrid Failure warning lighht had lit at one time while i was driving when i heard the sounds initially and teh sound changed as if something has slowly allwed the fan to get restarted. Guess when i shut down, the wood came dislodged, the error light went off , but part of the wood was still in the path of the fan so it was hitting the blades as they went past, rat-at-at-at.
Anyhow one hour lf labor charged to solve the mystery. Car all happy now.
