Finally got one. 09 Altima Hybrid $19499 + tax and dmv fees
I am glad you got what you wanted and technically they lowered the price because it was not the current model. I think anyone buying a 09 base model during the same time period could gave done ever better than we did and extended the gap between the base and fully loaded models.
I think getting it 16,999 after rebate is still a pretty good deal. That's a good 7k difference from your price and I am happy with that. Plus, that would have been almost another 700 in sales tax plus additional registration fees if I bought a fully loaded model. Well not quite 700 since sales can be written off but the savings is only as good ad one's tax bracket.
To each his own concerning options.

Hey I bought the 09 NAH at $24,500 and it was fully loaded. Leather heated seats, Navigation, 6 Disc changer with Bose and all. You just have to negotiate my friend. In my opinion the $20,000 for the base is overpriced. An extra $5,000 gets you everything you would want in the car. The dealer tried to screw me on the interest rate, they offered me 5.9% but I refinanced and am at 4.19% through a credit union. BTW- The car is sweet. I am getting HID's and Tints this week for $485? Is that a reasonable price. The place is very popular for this kind of work in Long Island, where I live.
Just an extra $5000 more???
I don't know what your financial situation is but whoa $5000 is a lot of cash.
Just think $5g's.
$5000 more for a car that I just drive to work.
$5000 in aftermarket upgrades would get you much better options plus HID's and tint with change to spare.
For $5000. You could be going to the Superbowl in Miami.
$5000. is approximately 1700 gallons of gas! 1700!!!
$5000 is 250 lap dances in Vegas!

$5000 more is $5000 more that I didn't have to spend.
But hey welcome to club and enjoy your fully loaded NAH.

the major difference that I'm drooling at is the HD based NAV. Oh well, almost had my car for 3 years already...there's always something better that comes out
