Finally got one. 09 Altima Hybrid $19499 + tax and dmv fees
Got my base model for $19,999 last week at Dirito Brothers in Concord, CA. No extras other than floor mats. Got a similar price from a couple dealers in the east bay & Sacramento area, so went with the one that gave me the best value on my trade.
When I take the eventual tax credit and deductions into account, the NAH will actually cost less than my old car (a moderately loaded 2001 VW Jetta, also purchased from Dirito Brothers) did when it was new....and it was a good value then.
I noticed that the base model hybrids I looked at, including the Altima, had more standard features than the gas-only versions/equivalents. With the extra features, sale price, rebates and tax breaks, I don't know that I could have gotten a comparable 2.5S for much less.
I live near Sacramento and work in the East Bay, where it'll be 100+ degrees most days for the next couple months. Gonna need that window tint next for sure!!

Awesome, welcome to club!
Yes, I got it from Northbay in Petaluma. At the time they only had this one and a beige one at this price.
I don't see the blue one listed anymore. White is a nice color too. BTW, how's the leather interior? I Pm'd you about your tinting. It would be nice to have.
I live in the bay area too. I was wondering where you bought your car. Please let me know, as I just rented one and I'm ready to pull the trigger and buy one now.
I got mine at Northbay Nissan in Petaluma. I found the car on Craigslist.

prices are up since the c4c giveaway drove down inventories and raised auto dealers sales. You could try to get your best deal now or wait another month or two to see if their business has gone back to recession level sales, and then strike a deal.

Hey I bought the 09 NAH at $24,500 and it was fully loaded. Leather heated seats, Navigation, 6 Disc changer with Bose and all. You just have to negotiate my friend. In my opinion the $20,000 for the base is overpriced. An extra $5,000 gets you everything you would want in the car. The dealer tried to screw me on the interest rate, they offered me 5.9% but I refinanced and am at 4.19% through a credit union. BTW- The car is sweet. I am getting HID's and Tints this week for $485? Is that a reasonable price. The place is very popular for this kind of work in Long Island, where I live.
I hate to break the news to you but the original post is 7 months old at least. You just bought a 09 in 2010 and it's really considered last years model. If you bought a 2010 for that price then you got a great deal but right now it's already a year and any trade in value would reflect that.
My friend, I bought the Altima on Dec. 19...so technically it was 2009 when i got it. Beyond that if I wouldve waited I would not be eligible for all the tax rebates and especially the hybrid rebate. Also there is not much of difference between the 2009 and 2010 hybrid. Just wouldve ended up costing me more. I really got lucky with the fact that the car was available. I had been shopping around for one for the past 6 months and finally the car color of my choice and the trim were available. $34,900 is the sticker, me getting it for $24,500 is a STEAL!!! As for the trade in value? I know the '09 will hurt but I kept my last car for 8 years, even if I keep the NAH for half that time (4 years) the residual value will be just as high, not as high as the 2010 hybrid but not much lower.
