Probably until all the people who want high mileage cars have one - or until gas prices go down to the low $2.00 range. Just my opinion

I just checked the KBB trade-in value of the 2005 HCH. With about 15,000 miles on the car, it is worth $20,900 as a trade in. I paid $19,500 in April 2005 before TTL.

This is unheard of, but we're driving around appreciating assets right now people (at least until gas prices or the hybrid craze dip).

I know, I'm almost convinced to hawk my car and get a 2006 HCH for a few thousand bucks. Easier said than done, though. What a profit - I only paid 18k for mine anyway.

This quote was interesting:

Those paying top dollar for a used Prius now may see prices drop later.

"It will happen," said Sherman. "There are only so many people that will find (a used Prius) that attractive and will pay that much for it"

Everyone should find a Prius attractive! sheesh.
