That is the first report I've heard of a battery wearing out. 150,000 miles is pretty good, and you know Taxi's do lots of stop and go, which would be heavy on the EV. This leads me to believe MOST drivers will get 200,000 miles off the pack.

I'm surprised the packs went, that's the first I've ever heard of it.

So far Ford has replaced them under warranty?

Sounds like Ford wanted to take a look at them too.

It seemed like the reported has a bias against SUVs. Either that, or they don't know what the purpose of a small SUV is.

Plus it was obvious they had no clue how to drive a hybrid.
