Hi all,

I am looking to buy my first hybrid vehicle - most likely a Highlander or a Lexus SUV by sometme this fall. I am so happy to have found this site to help me research models and once I get my new car, I look forward to posting about my experience with it.

welcome! have fun- you can learn a lot here to apply to whatever you drive now, and start getting fuel economy gains NOW. Then once you get your new vehicle, you can start out with good results, and improve from there! 80% of the tricks apply to all cars, not just hybrids.

 

Thanks, Bryan! I will check out the tricks. I live very close to you (in Annapolis). I have been noticing a lot more Prius's around here this past year - but havn't really noticed any Highlander or Lexus Hybrids.

 

I know of 1 Rx400h around us and a few HHs around Broadneck.
