Well, I just picked up my new 2006 Prius w/pkg. 6 tis past Friday evening! And a Barcellona Red to boot! I haven't had a red car since high school whoo hoo!

Having a great time driving it. Although my hubby will need to learn to [ahem] get the lead out of the right foot, if you know what mean...

I've had a simular problem with my significant other. I've been thinking about installing a 'rattle' device triggered by speeds in excess of 65 mph for any duration exceeding 1 minute . . .

"Yes, Honey, I hear that noise. See if maybe it goes away if you slow down."

"Yes, Baby, I took it to the shop and the service manager said everyone gets that rattle until the car is broken in. You have to stay below 66 mph until the car is broken in, otherwises it can come back and you have to break it in again and reseat the rings."

After 2,000 miles, take out the rattle.

Good luck with the new Prius, my wife and I came close to purchasing a Barcelona Red Prius, but as she would state, I chose the 06 Civic Hybrid instead.
