New Person:)
Heya,
I have had my 2004 Insight for about a year and a half, now. I call her Su, which is short for SULEV.
I live in Portland, Oregon. When I first got my hybrid I had people walking up to me at gas stations, yelling through my window at stop signs/lights and glaffing me over to ask me questions. I tried to be nice about it, but I am from NY and people approaching my vehicle really stresses me out
Since we get rain alot and I am hard on cars, I have had Su's tires siped to increase traction.
The other thing I have done was to rip out the horrible factory speaker and replace them with Eclipse speakers, which are massively better but I have trouble keeping them balanced.
I am very eager to know if there is anything that can be done to improve the performance of my hybrid. I abuse cars horribly. I use Su to carry building materials too often.
My other car is a Pontiac Vibe, named BJ after her license plate. But I rarely ever drive her unless I am hauling stuff or boucing around dirt roads in the Columbia Rover Gorge.
Good to meet all of you,
Rathany

Sounds like you have a CVT? I'm guessing.
And please consider entering your fuel mileage in the database.

I will add to the database once I've read up on it. I get about 49-52 usually, which is sad. As I said, I work her rather hard.
