Default New Civic Owner

Hi all - Picked up a 2006 Honda Civc 2 weeks ago and love it so far. Feel like a kid again (I am 42) My kids are proud that we are doing something "good for the world" and I really enjoy driving the car.

Very impressed with this site so far too.

Good luck with the new Honda Civic Hybrid! The first few weeks can be quite eye-opening. This is a good time of year for it (I bought mine a year ago this week- hey, it's my car's birthday, and I hadn't even realized it!) and you should be able to get a real feel for what the car can do before winter comes crashing in, with its drain on fuel efficiency from engine heating and all the defrosting. I'm glad that you and your family are doing your bit for the world! Personally, I think it's a good way to do that.

Thanks Leah. We are suddenly hit with 110 temps again so I'm sure that has not helped with my MPG so far. Regards, Doug
