Default New Civic hybrid owner

Hey, fellow environmentalists. I just found you online after buying a Civic hybrid tonight ($22,000). We have two kids and live in Michigan, so the car is a bit small, but the older I get (49 now), the more I think that "less is more" and "small is beautiful." Anyway, as soon as I figure out how to navigate this somewhat busy site, I'll check in again soon.

Hi Perli,

Where in Michigan? I use to live in Livonia for years, have 3 brothers and mom/dad still up there. I just bought my 06 HCH and love it so far. Traded in a Ford pick up, and was a little concerned at the difference. Happy to say, it was worth it. First 'sedan' in many years. Main reason for the sedan was a granddaughter (no car seat for the pickup). I have a neighbor that has a 03 HCH and I was inspired after that.

I'm in Farmington Hills, Bob. Wow, from a pick-up to a civic, that's a change! We looked at the Civic in 2003 and leased an Accord because we had two kids in carseats. They're still both in boosters, but the Civic is a bit bigger now and I really wanted to support the hybrid technology. I don't know how it will handle in the snow. Bet you're glad you don't have to worry about that now! Thanks for the note!
